Have a club "Donation Day"
Here's a chance to give back to both the community and to the sport of skiing.
A great way for your club members to make a worthwhile contribution to the Special Olympics organization or to the Windham Adaptive Skiing Program is to sponsor a "Donation Day."
Simply pick the date, add it to your club calendar and ask your members to bring in donations of ski equipment, boots and gently used ski clothing (hats, gloves, ski pants, etc.) on that day. Michael Calderone of the Met Council will pick up the donated articles and deliver them to these worthy organizations.
